How to make a useful match score sheet
The essential fields for badminton, table tennis, basketball, and other events.
A useful score sheet makes it easy to see who is playing, the current and final scores, and who confirmed the result.
Fields to include
- Event name, round, date, court, and match number.
- Player or team names.
- Scores for each game, period, or set.
- Final result and a referee or recorder signature.
Adapt the sheet to the sport
Badminton and table tennis need one column per game. Basketball works better with period scores and space for timeouts, fouls, and overtime. Tennis needs separate game, set, and tie-break scores.
